A Unique Opportunity: Donating Real Estate

If you, or you know of anyone with real estate willing to donate - a house, condominium, land, or commercial property - it could make a transformative difference for our organization. Donating real estate comes with several benefits:

• A potential charitable tax deduction for the property's fair market value

When someone donates a substantial gift such as real estate, the non-profit organization will decide whether to use the property for its own operations or sell it and use the proceeds to purchase a property that is more conducive to its operations. Either way, this type of donation can greatly impact the organization. At Treetops, we have a $22,000.00 per year rent expense; this money could be going toward many other things that directly impact animals in need.
